The Handy 40in Plug Aerator is made from black powder-coated steel in black, the plug aerator is towed by your garden tractor. It has a convenient weight tray that will enable you to add weight as required for optimum performance. It’s 24 replaceable hollow core tines will penetrate your grass area by up to 3″, with a 102cm (40in) working width. The THTPA40 aerator has been equipped with 10″ pneumatic tyres for easy transportation, a single cantilevered handle allows you to quickly adjust from working to transportation. The best time to use the aerator is when the turf has a high moisture content, using the tow-behind plug aerator will allow air, moisture and nutrients access to the grasses root system, along with reducing the compaction of the soil. The Aerator is supplied with a universal hitch pin and suitable for use with most makes of ride-on mowers or lawn tractors.
